This figure illustrates an experiment assessing the role of taste in the eating habits of overweight and normal-weight people. Each group was given a good-tasting milkshake and a bad-tasting one. The original is from the second edition of Introduction to Psychology by James Kalat; my reworking appeared in the third edition.
