Calculating Interest This sequence shows how interest is calculated, using 7% as the example. It starts with 100 pennies labeled "$1.00." When the user clicks a button to begin, a clone of the green "$1.00" label travels up to the top, the rest of the formula appears beside it, seven pennies drop onto the top of the 100 pennies, and the label changes to "$1.07." When the user clicks again, the same basic thing happens, this time based on $1.07. |
